Konstantin-Eleninsky temple The Konstantin-Eleninsky church is an Orthodox church in the village of Politotdelskoye, Matveevo-Kurgan region of the Rostov region, the Rostov and Novocherkassk diocese of Matveevo-Kurgan deanery of the Russian Orthodox Church.

History
In 1823, in the town of Mercy of Kurakin, Matveyevo-Kurgan Uyezd (now the village of Politotdel), the Constantine-Eleninsky Church was built. The consecration of the temple took place in 1825. The church was built at the expense of the landowner Shabelsky. It was a stone, three-seeded church with thrones in honor of Saints Equal to the Apostles Constantine and Helena, St. Nicholas and the Icon of the Mother of God of Vladimir. A priest’s house, a barn, and a gatehouse were built near the church.
In the 30s of the XX century, the temple was completely demolished. For a long time there was no temple in the village.
In the 90s of the XX century, a gradual revival of spiritual life began in the village. The administration of the village, at the request of the faithful, allocated for worship services, the building reconstructed in 1997 under a prayer house.
Until 2005, 12 priests held divine services. Later, priest Cyril was appointed rector of the Konstantin-Eleninsky church. In 2005-2006, the created parish designed the building of the house of worship, the building of the former rural pharmacy and the land in the property.
In 2007, the reconstruction of the temple building was carried out, as well as the construction of the former pharmacy for a Sunday school.
In 2008-2009, a gas boiler was replaced in the church, new doors, windows were installed, water was drawn into the premises of the prayer house and Sunday school.
In 2010, a small belfry was bought for the temple, in 2011-2012 a wooden belfry was built, where the purchased bells were placed. In 2012, reconstruction work on the house of worship continued, and renovation of the Sunday school building began. In 2013, on the highway of the village of Politotdelskoye-Matveyev-Kurgan, a Poklonnaya Cross and the Icon of the Archangel Michael were installed, the area around the temple was improved.

Currently, the rector of the Konstantin-Eleninsky church is Hieromonk Kirill (Kirillov).
