Chris Sullivan ( born Chris Sullivan ; born July 19, 1980 , Palm Springs ) is an American actor in television, theater and cinema, a musician. Best known for her roles as Tom Cleary in the television series Knickerbocker Hospital (2014–2015), Toby Damon in the TV series This Is Us (2016–2018) and Shockerface in the film Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2 "(2017).

Biography
In 2002 he graduated from Loyola Marymount University [1] . He played in various theatrical productions (including Broadway), including The Legend of Alex, Defending The Caveman , The Hairy Monkey , The Secret of Irma Vep , The Ballad of Emmett Till, Twelfth Night , “The Illusion”, “ Lombardi ”, “ Chicago ”, “ Good job if you can get it ” [2] .
He made his debut on television in 2006. In 2012-2013, he played cameo roles in the TV series Gifted Man , Elementary , Law and Order: Special Corps , and Americans . In 2014, he played the first major role - in the television series " Knickerbocker Hospital " [3] . From 2016 to 2018, he played in the TV series " This Is Us " [4] [5] [6] . In 2017, appeared in the role of Shockerface in the film “ Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2 ” [7] .
Personal life
Married to Rachel Rachard. [1]
Together with Ben Kaplan created the music group "Sully and The Benevolent Folk" [8] . May 1, 2013 released the debut album "The Odd Sea", on which Chris sang leading vocal parts [9] .
