Ocean's eight girlfriends

Debbie Ocean, the late sister of the late Danny Ocean, was released from jail on parole and finds her former accomplice Lou to convince her to join her for the robbery that she planned during the sentence. They assemble a team: Rose Wyle, which has lost its former popularity and has huge debts; Amita, a jewelry maker and friend of Debbie, who wants to leave her mother's house and start her own life; Nine, an experienced hacker; Constance, a street pickpocket and Tammy, a kleptomaniac who secretly sells stolen items from the garage of her family's country house.

Debbie plans to steal a $ 150 million Cartier necklace that Daphne Kluger, a famous actress, will wear at a ball at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art in five weeks. Debbie and Lou tweak everything so that Vile gets to Daphne as a stylist for the ball. Wile and Amita go to Cartier to convince them to let Daphne put on the necklace and simultaneously scan it to make a duplicate.

Debbie is tracking his former boyfriend, Claude Becker, an antique dealer who turned her over to the police when they were caught for fraud with artwork, which led to her arrest. After threatening him, Debbie manipulates Daphne to invite Becker to the celebration. Lou realizes that Debbie wants revenge on Becker, but Debbie assures her that everything will be fine.

Wyle discovers a flaw in the plan: the necklace can only be removed with a special magnet, which is located at the bodyguard employed by Cartier; Nine attracts his younger sister Veronica to create his counterpart. When the celebration begins, Daphne eats the soup into which Lou added the gag, she runs to the toilet, where Constance takes the necklace. When it is discovered that the necklace has disappeared, guests are asked to leave the banquet and search the museum; Tammy "finds" a duplicate necklace, and the search stops. While they searched the premises, Amita works on a real necklace and begins to disassemble it to make several jewelry out of it and then gives it to Constance to pass it on to the others. After that, Debbie throws up one of Claude's converted jewelry. All the girls leave the ball, taking with them parts of the converted necklace.

Further, when a jewelry house employee discovered that the necklace was fake, John Fraser, an insurance fraud investigator, was called in to investigate the case. Unable to find information, Fraser, who several times investigated cases related to the Ocean family, discovers that Debbie was present at the celebration; however, she has an alibi. They meet in an eatery and Debbie assures Fraser that she does not have information about where the necklace is, but she can know where its part is.

It turns out later that Daphne was dedicated to the plans, Debbie and Lou invited her so that the actress would not turn them in when they realized that due to poor acting, Vile Kluger could guess about the scam. Daphne invites Becker to a romantic evening at his home, where he “finds” the jewelry thrown up by Debbie and sends a photo to Fraser so that he can get an arrest warrant for stealing the necklace. To further substitute Becker, Debbie sells parts of the necklace to actresses hired to play elderly socialites, who, in turn, sell jewelry and deposit money into his account. Becker is arrested.

When the eight celebrates the victory, Daphne notes that Debbie and Lou made less money from selling jewelry than they planned at first. Lou explains that while the museum was being searched, Lou and Ian, her friend, stole all the jewelry from the exhibition, which was held in parallel with the reception, in the next room.

At the end of the film, each team member goes his own way: Amita goes to Paris with the man she met on Tinder ; Wyle repays his debts and opens a boutique; Constance buys a spacious attic in the city and becomes a video blogger on YouTube ; Tammy is expanding his stolen business; Nine opens a billiard bar; Daphne becomes a director; Lou goes on a motorcycle trip.

In the finale, Debbie comes to Danny’s grave, drinks a martini and says, “You would love that.”

The film received mixed positive ratings from film critics. On the Rotten Tomatoes website , the picture has 68% positive reviews based on 311 reviews ^[7] . On Metacritic - 61 points out of 100 based on 50 reviews ^[8] .
