Suleymanov, Tursunali

Born in 1897 in the village of Nariman, Osh district (now Kara-Suu district ), Osh region ) in a peasant family, an ethnic Uzbek . In 1930, he joined the collective farm named after Andreev in the Osh district (now Kara-Suy district ). In 1932 he was elected chairman of the same collective farm . In 1938 he joined the CPSU (b) .

He brought the collective farm to the number of advanced agricultural enterprises in the Osh region . In 1956, the collective farm collected an average of 32 centners of raw cotton per hectare on an area of ​​810 hectares. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 15, 1957, he was awarded the title for the outstanding achievements made in increasing the production of sugar beets , cotton and livestock products, the widespread use of science and best practices in the cultivation of cotton , sugar beets and the production of high and sustainable crops of these crops. Hero of Socialist Labor with the presentation of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle " ^[2] .

An experienced leader during the years of World War II directed all his experience and strength to the development of the collective farm economy , raising the standard of living of the population . In 1942, during the blockade of Leningrad, on his initiative and under his leadership, 6 wagons of vegetables and fruits , clothes, and other necessary things were collected at the Lenin collective farm he headed. A total of 54 wagons were collected in the republic; a delegation of 13 people took this aid load to the city of Leningrad . The delegation included Tursunali Sulaimanov. T. Sulaimanov visited the Putilov factory , saw the situation in besieged Leningrad . T. Sulaimanov issued a resolution of the board of the Lenin collective farm on the cultivation of vegetables and fruits on 5 hectares of collective farm land and additionally sent 1 wagon of food to the workers of the Putilov plant in Leningrad . T. Sulaymanov was the initiator and organizer of the construction of a medium-sized hydroelectric power station on a Beshalish canal in the village of Nariman, Kara-Suu district, by hashar .

He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 2nd convocation from the Council of Nationalities ( 1946 - 1950 ) and a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR ( 1950 - 1958 ). He was a member of the bureau of the Osh regional party committee and the bureau of the Kara-Suy district party committee, participated in party congresses and conferences.

After reaching a personal pension of union significance, he lived in his native village, where he died in 1971 .
