Biography
Born in a working class family [2] .
He graduated from Orsha pedagogical courses in 1930, drama and drama courses in Minsk in 1932 [2] .
He worked as an actor in the Vitebsk Drama Theater , an employee of the Leninsky Vyaze newspaper in Orsha , an actor-fighter in the Theater of the Belarusian Military District, an actor in the Smolensk , Zhytomyr , Bryansk , Dneprodzerzhinsk , Leninogorsk , Ust-Kamenogorsk , Ryazan , Izhevsk , Kaluga [2] .
From 1967 he lived in Minsk [1] .
Creativity
Printed since 1932. Author of collections of poems, poetry books for children. He translated into Russian the works of many Belarusian poets, including Y. Kupala , Y. Kolas , P. Brovka , M. Tank , A. Kuleshov , P. Panchenko and others [1] .
Member of the Writers' Union of the USSR (1957) [2] .
