Expedition to China

In the years 1874-1875. The Russian government sent a scientific and trade expedition to China led by Julian Adamovich Sosnowski , in which Boyarsky took part as an official photographer [1] .

Boyarsky took about 200 pictures. Most of the photos were included in the album, which later became part of the collection of Theresa Cristina Maria, collected by the Emperor of Brazil Pedro II and transferred to him by the National Library of Brazil .
