Club career

The early years

Pupil of the Moscow “ Spartak ”. He started playing football at the age of five at the Sports School of Spartak-2 , and a year later he moved to Spartak in the group of six-year-old football players [4] . In 2013, he made his debut in the backup team of Spartak, spent 38 matches and scored 5 goals.

Spartak 2 Moscow

In 2014, he began playing for the Spartak-2 farm club. In the 2015/16 season he played 23 matches for Spartak-2. He scored his only goal of the season on March 11, 2016 at the “ Ray of Energy ” goal, distinguishing himself in the 81st minute [5] . In the 2016/17 season, Spartak-2 took to the field in 17 matches of the FNL Championship . Received 5 yellow cards and was not marked by effective actions [6] . In January 2017, he took part in the winter training camp for the main team of Spartak [7] .

Rental at Anji

In early 2017, he moved to Makhachkala " Anji " on loan [6] [8] . He played his first match on March 1, 2017 in the 1/4 finals of the Russian Cup against Ufa , marking with a yellow card in the 80th minute [9] . On March 13, 2017, Guliyev made his debut in the Premier League , leaving the starting lineup in the match of the 19th round against Spartak [10] . January 10, 2018 on loan until the end of the season moved to “ Rostov ” [14] . He made his debut on March 2 in a guest match against Krasnodar (1: 3) [15] . On June 6, 2018, Rostov bought Guliyev from Spartak [16] . The first goal for “Rostov” scored on August 19, 2018 in a home match against the Krasnoyarsk “ Yenisei ” (4-0) [17] . In August and September 2018, he was recognized as the best football player of the month according to the results of the fans' vote.

Spartak Moscow

On January 9, 2019 he returned to Spartak Moscow and signed a long-term contract with the club [18] . He made his debut for Spartak on March 3, 2019 in the match of the 18th round of the Russian Championship against Krasnodar (1: 1), leaving the starting lineup [19] . On April 21, 2019, in the match of the 24th round of the championship against the Krasnoyarsk Yenisei (2-0) he scored his first goal for Spartak [20] .

Pedestrian Scandal

On April 11, 2019, it became known that Guliyev was the initiator of the conflict on Krasnoprudnaya Street in Moscow. Driving on it at a Mercedes, he did not stop when a red signal appeared for drivers at a traffic light. Among the pedestrians crossing the street was US citizen Michael Coe John Ely, who almost fell under the wheels of a car. Guliyev hit him in the face, and after a while began to beat him with his fists. Guliyev was detained by the police, where he apologized, and the American wrote a statement that he had no complaints against Guliyev. The management of Spartak stated that it condemns any manifestations of violence and considers its player’s behavior unacceptable; in this regard, the club promised to apply strict disciplinary sanctions against the player [21] . On April 19, the Moscow World Court deprived a football player of a driver’s license for 4 months [22] .

Team Career

Guliyev has roots from Azerbaijan [23] , and was born in Moscow [23] , and made the choice to play for the Russian teams [24] . Since 2011, he has been playing for youth teams of Russia of various ages. In 2015, he became vice-champion of Europe among youth (U-19). Since 2015, he has been involved in the youth team . In November 2016, he scored a goal in a control match with the Swiss , entered the field after the break and in the 62nd minute made the score in a draw - 2: 2 [25] .

In November 2016, as part of the FNL team, he participated in a friendly match against the Cyprus youth team [26] .

In 2018, he again played for the youth team, in matches with Egypt and Serbia. In the match with Macedonia could not take part because of three yellow cards. In the next match, the youth team entered the field in the 79th minute.

Personal life

The roots of Ayaz Guliyev are from the city of Lankaran and the village of Boradigah, Masalli region, in Azerbaijan [23] . After the army, at the age of twenty years, his father moved to the capital of Russia, where he met his mother [23] .
