The Robert Millikan Medal ( eng. Robert A. Millikan Medal ) is a scientific award that is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the teaching of physics. This award in honor of the outstanding American physicist Robert Milliken was founded in 1962 by the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAVF). The laureates speak at the AAVF Summer Fees and receive a cash prize, a Millikan medal, a certificate corresponding to it, as well as reimbursement of travel expenses to the Summer Fee location. Self-nomination for this medal is not provided. Preference in choosing the winners give members AAVF [1] .
