DescriptionThe body is a bluish-green metallic shiny. Scutellum and mesoscutum mesh. Notauli are distinct in the front. Insect parasites: leaf beetles Cassida sp. ( Chrysomelidae , Coleoptera ), butterflies Haritala ruralis and Sylepta ruralis ( Lepidoptera : Pyralidae ), gypsy moth ( Lymantria dispar , Lymantriidae ), Epinotia rubiginosana ( Tortricidae ) and others. The species was first described in 1958, and its valid status was confirmed in 2017 in the course of an audit conducted by Chinese hymenterterologists H. Cao & Ch. Zhong ( Huan-xi Cao & Chao-dong Zhu , Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing , China ) and Australian entomologist John La Salle ( John La Salle , CSIRO , Canberra , Australia ) [1] [2] [3] .
