Geography
The village is located on the Lesnoy Zai River , 16 kilometers southeast of the city of Zainsk .
History
The village was founded in the 1650s.
Since 1736, it became the site of the settlement of retired non-commissioned officers and life guards. In 1767, in addition to the civilian population, there were 61 retired courtyards, in which 214 people lived. Later, the villagers belonged to the category of state peasants . They were engaged in agriculture, cattle breeding, beekeeping, shoemaking and pottery. During the Peasant War of 1773-75, the Alexander Sloboda was a place of concentration of rebels.
In 1814, the Christmas Church (architectural monument) was built here. According to 1870, in the village there was a mill, a zemstvo school.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the land allotment of the rural community was 3,513 acres. There were significant casualties among the population during the Fork Rebellion of 1920 . In 1919, the first council was formed in Aleksandrovskaya Sloboda, in 1930, two collective farms - βNew Lifeβ and βProletarianβ. Since 1950, the Aleksandrovskaya Sloboda as part of the Red Partisan collective farm, since 1970 at the state farm of the same name, since 1998 at the Aleksandrovsky agricultural production cooperative. Until 1920, the village was part of the Zainsky volost of the Menzelinsky district of the Ufa province . Since 1920, as part of Menzelinsky , since 1922 - Chelninsky cantons of the TASSR .
