Sambir County ( German: Bezirk Sambor , Sambir County [1] , Polish. Powiat samborski ) is the administrative unit of the crown land of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria as part of Austria-Hungary , which existed in 1867-1918. The administrative center is Sambir .

The area of the district in 1879 was 93,165 square miles (536.07 km2), and the population was 75,402 people. The district consisted of 82 settlements organized in 80 cadastral municipalities. On the territory of the district there were 2 district courts - in Sambir , and in Luka [2] .
During 1915, the county was part of the Przemysl province , formed on the territory of Austria-Hungary occupied by Russian troops [3] .
After World War I, the district, together with all of Galicia, moved to Poland .
