Biography

The exact birthplace and names of Anna’s biological parents are not known; she was found on a street in New York. The girl was adopted by wealthy people for whom she became the only child. As a child, she felt lonely and had no friends.

Anna's father worked a lot in Europe. The family lived in Paris for a long time. Her adoptive father was a fan of the theater and often took his daughter with him. At the age of 17, Anna was sent to study at the School of Fine Arts in France. There she tried many professions from colorist to costume designer. She did not seriously consider an acting career.

Her career has changed dramatically with Christopher Walken, who offered her a role in the play “Child Champion,” and after her successful performance helped to break into Hollywood.
