Biography
In 2001, he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations as an economist by profession, in 2002 - with a degree in finance .
From 2002 to 2005, he held various positions at the State Investment Company and at Gazprom .
From 2005 to 2011 - Vice-President, later First Vice-President [3] . In February 2010, at the age of 29, he was appointed deputy chairman of the board of Gazprombank OJSC.
On April 5, 2011, the decision of the Board of Directors of Gazprombank on the early termination of powers of Sergey Ivanov as deputy chairman of the board and as a member of the board of Gazprombank [4] came into force. On the same day, he was appointed head of the board of the insurance company SOGAZ [5] . In 2011, he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Agricultural Bank .
On June 22, 2011, following a meeting of shareholders, he entered the board of directors of Gazprombank [6] .
From 2011 to 2016, he worked as Chairman of the Board of SOGAZ JSC, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool ( RNIP ) [7] .
From April 2016, he worked as Senior Vice President - Head of the Welfare Management Unit of Sberbank PJSC until approval as the President of ALROSA.
Sergey Ivanov is a member of the boards of directors of Rosneftegaz JSC, Gazfond NPF , Sberbank Asset Management JSC, Sberbank NPF JSC, Sberbank Insurance IC LLC, Sberbank Life Insurance IC LLC.
Awarded by the President of the Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, has departmental awards.
