Biography

Club career

He played for the capital clubs of the Alliance and Atletico Marte . As part of the Alliance, he won the gold of the national championship in the seasons 1965/66 and 1966/67, and as part of the Atletico Marte in the seasons 1968/69 and 1970. At the end of his career, he played for FAS from the city of Santa Ana .

Team Career

In 1968 he participated in the football tournament of the Summer Olympics in Mexico City . He entered the field in two matches, against Hungary (0: 4) and Israel (1: 3); his team did not go through the group stage. In the match with Israel he was removed from the field in the 67th minute [1] .

In 1970, he was part of the Salvador national team in the final tournament of the World Cup , also held in Mexico City . I have never entered the field at a tournament. He took part in friendly matches as part of the national team, including April 21, 1970 against Peru and April 30, 1970 against Romania [2] .

Personal life

Was married, wife - Marta Alicia. Two children - Zulma and Carlos, two grandchildren.

Died March 4, 2017 in a hospital in the city of San Salvador at the 70th year of life from heart disease [3] .
