Biography
Born in with. Borshchino, Kostroma province. In 1926 he graduated from the Kazan Agricultural Institute. In 1927-1931 He worked as a livestock breeding specialist at the dairy farming station (Spassk).
Arrested on January 13, 1931. Sentenced: college of the OGPU TASSR January 19, 1932, equip: according to Art. 58-7, 58-11 ("a participant in the c / r, a wrecking organization"): 3 years of exile in the Northern Territory. [one]
In 1934-1951 livestock breeding specialist in the Ivanovo and Kostroma regions. In 1951 he graduated from the correspondence postgraduate course at the Kazan Agricultural Institute. In 1951-1954 at the Kostroma state integrated agricultural experimental station - head of the livestock department. In 1954-1959 Deputy Director for Research, Head of the Department of Genetics and Breeding of Farm Animals, Institute of Livestock, Academy of Sciences of the BSSR. Since 1954, N. A. Gorsky at the Vitebsk Veterinary Institute - head of the department (1959-1968), dean of the zootechnical faculty (1960-1965).
Scientific activity
N. A. Gorsky owns works on the methods of forming the production herd of Kostroma and Schwyz breeds. He is one of the creators of the Kostroma cattle breed.
