Apprentice Matilda Marquezi . In 1881 - 1891 she sang in the Vienna Court Opera ; Among the best parties are Papyr - Amneris in Aida and Azuchen in Verdi 's Troubadour . She toured extensively in Germany and Holland, performed, in addition to opera roles, the songs of Schubert , Schumann , and Brahms . In 1891, due to illness, she left the stage and in 1892 took the post of vocal professor at the Vienna Academy of Music ; among the students of Rosa Papyr are Anna Bar-Mildenburg , Rosa Pauli , Olga Bauer-Pilecka and other famous singers.
