Biography
In 1966-1968 he worked as a locksmith. In 1973 he graduated from the Dzhambul Irrigation and Reclamation and Construction Institute with a degree in hydraulic engineering and construction. In 1973-1976 he worked at the Dzhambul factory of double superphosphate at Khimprom (engineer, senior, chief engineer) [1] .
Since 1976 - at party and Soviet work: instructor, head of department of the Dzhambul district committee, city committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan; Since 1983 - Deputy Chairman of the Central District Executive Committee ( Dzhambul ); since 1989 - chairman of the Karatau city executive committee [1] .
In 1992-1995 - the head of the Zhambyl city administration [1] .
Subsequently, he worked as the head of the Zhambyl Oblast Environmental Protection Administration (1996-2004), the deputy head of the Shu-Talas Department of Ecology - the Chief State Ecological Inspector for the Zhambyl Oblast (since 2008) [1] .
From September 19, 2004 to June 20, 2007 - Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from constituency No. 30 of the Zhambyl region, member of the Committee on Finance and Budget; member of the deputy group of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Enbek", member of the deputy fraction of the People's Democratic Party "Nur Otan" [1] .
Since 2015 - Chairman of the Taraz City Council of Veterans [2] .

Wife - Aisha Koyshibaevna Shokenova (b. 1950).
