Biography
Galina Stanislavova was born on June 10, 1920 in Harbin in the family of opera singer A.E. Stanislavova , who in the mid-1920s performed at the Opera House of the Sino-Eastern Railway in the same place.
In 1945 she graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Kiev University . In 1948 she graduated from the Kiev Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of S. S. Kiparenko-Damansky ).
Since 1948, she became a soloist in the Saratov Opera and Ballet Theater , in a theater in which her mother performed in the 1930s. She performed as a concert singer. She possessed a strong beautiful voice, rich in timbre colors, and bright dramatic talent.
Since 1967, she taught at the Saratov Conservatory . In 1977, she became an assistant professor of opera training, and in 1997, a professor.
She died on October 27, 2003 in Saratov.
