History
In the first half of the 18th century, a wooden church existed in the village in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1767, parishioners built a new stone church with two thrones: in the cold - in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God and in the warm aisle - in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1858-1863, the warm church was expanded and in addition to the throne of St. Nicholas, two more were built in it: in the name of the great martyr Dmitry and in the name of Archangel Michael. In 1868, a new octagonal three-tier stone bell tower was built at the church; in 1871, a stone porch was added to the church. A fence near the church and bell tower has existed since 1834. In 1893, the parish consisted of a village (38 yards) and villages of Kondrakovo, Vlasikha, Sukhovo, Vyazovitsa, Krasnitsa, Ponino, Osinovka, Maryino. There were 247 all the yards in the parish, 680 men and 768 women. There was a public school in the village [2] .

Since 1929, the village was the center of the Krapivnovsky village council of the Teykovsky district [3] , since 2005 - the center of the Krapivnovsky village council .
