Peremyshlany District ( German: Bezirk Przemyślany , Peremyshlyansky Uyezd , Polish. Powiat przemyślański , Ukrainian Peremyshliansky Povit ) - an administrative unit of the crown region of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria as a part of Austria-Hungary ( Austria existed from 1867 onwards) 1918 year.
History
In 1854, an administrative reform was carried out, according to which, in the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, berserk (counties) were formed.
Area - 9.16 square miles (~ 504.5 km2). The population is 25,013 (1866). The number of houses - 4134 (1866) [1] . Warden (Bezirk Vorsteher) - Rudolf Ebner (Rudolf Ebner) (1866) [2]
The districts were abolished in 1867, and the counties were reorganized: part disappeared, and part increased at the expense of others. Peremyshlyansky district remained after the reform. It included the territory of Peremyshl and Glinyansky districts, 3 communes of Bibra and 1 commune of Rogatinsky district [3] .
The area of the district in 1879 was 9.327 square miles (536.68 km2), and the population was 54 124 people. The district counted 72 settlements organized in 68 cadastral municipalities. In the district there were 2 district courts - in Peremyshlyany and Glinyany [4] .
After World War I, the district, together with all of Galicia, moved to Poland .
