Pliopedia pacifica (lat.) - a species of extinct marine mammals from the family of walrus predatory order. The only species of the genus Pliopedia . Its fossils are found along the coast, which has now become the territory of California , in the layers of the late Miocene . The time of existence from 5.332 to 3.6 million years ago [1] .
