The men's 4–10 km relay race at the 2017 Lahti World Ski Championships took place on March 3 .
The national teams of Norway and Russia long before the last stage significantly divorced from all rivals. Before the last leg of Finn-Hogen Krog (for the first time since 2007, the Norwegians were not Petter Nortug ), thanks to the efforts in the third leg of Martin Jonsrud Sundby , he had an advantage of 17 seconds over Russian Sergei Ustyugov . Ustyugov several times got close to the Norwegian, but in the end Krog managed to maintain an advantage and bring victory to his team. Ustyugov behind the finish line for 4.6 seconds.
Norwegians won gold in the relay at the 9th consecutive world championships. The Russians became the second in the relay for the first time since 2007. The Swedes, who were second in the relay at the world championships 2011, 2013 and 2015, this time became the third. The Swiss, despite the relatively unsuccessful speeches of their leader Dario Cologna, were close to their first relay medal in history at the World Championships, but lost only 0.2 seconds to the Swedes in the fight for bronze.
