Old Voikovichi is a village in the Baranavichy district of the Brest region . It is part of the Stolovichi village council , until 2013 it belonged to the Medenevichi village council . The population of 8 people (2009) [1] .

Content
Geography
The village is located 15 km northeast of the center of Baranavichy . The area belongs to the Neman basin, near the village the river Shchara flows in its upper reaches, on which a network of drainage ditches is created. The village is connected by local roads with the surrounding villages. A kilometer to the north is the village of Novye Voykovichi . 8 km from the village of the railway station Kroshin (Baranovichi - Minsk line ).
History
It has been known since 1585 as Voikovich, the property of the princes Yambekovich, was part of the Koldychevo estate. As a result of the second division of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, it became part of the Russian Empire , in the Novogrudok district of Minsk province [2] .
During World War I, heavy fighting took place in the vicinity of the village of Voykovichi with a large number of casualties from the Russian army. The fortifications of these times have survived [3] .
According to the Riga Peace Treaty (1921), the village became part of interwar Poland , where it belonged to the Baranavichy district of the Novogrudok Voivodeship . In the Polish period, a monument was erected to the Polish legions, preserved to this day. Since 1939, as part of the BSSR .
