Biography
The Viscount Berengar Charter, dated July 7, 1032, mentions only his eldest son, Raymond . Therefore, it is likely that Bernard was born later than this date.
Berengar died in 1067. It is believed that during his lifetime he transferred his possessions to his sons.
First, Bernard ruled the Viscountry together with his older brother - Raymond II. Around 1067 he ousted him, but at the same time, Raymond still had quite extensive possessions, which he later handed over to his sons.

The wife is Fidesz, the origin is not exactly established, in many sources she is listed as the daughter of Hugo I , Count of Ruergsky, and his wife Fides de Cerdan. Children:
