The author, it seems, sincerely considers himself a follower of Rabelais and even devotes several pages to him - only the writer of “ Gargantua ” was overwhelmed by the naive delight that you can finally discuss forbidden topics so refinedly, and the researcher of the “history of the priests” with pedantic tediousness only imitates stormy fun . Thank you, all this does not last too long - we are presented with only a “short” version of the most boring (performed by Ennig) story of Madame Sit .
