The 2nd Semberian Light Infantry Brigade ( Serb. Druha Semberska Laka Peshadiisk Brigade ) is an infantry military formation of the Republika Srpska Army , which was part of the East Bosnian Corps . Semberia was part of her area of responsibility. The headquarters was located in Bielina .

History
The 2nd Semberian Light Infantry Brigade was formed on June 6, 1992 . The brigade participated in many battles of the Bosnian war in a large part of the territory of Republika Srpska (including Operation Corridor and received the honorary name Semberia (only three brigades had this). The famous brigade commander was Blagoe Gavrilovic, in honor of which the brigade was called and Gavrina. In total, 6,000 people served in the brigade during the war years, 150 of them died and about 500 were injured. singer Rocky Vulovich [1] [2] .
Annually, in May in Bielina , at the Central Monument, commemorative events organized by the City Veterans Association are held. At the events, the fallen soldiers from Semberia and Bielina are remembered [3] .
