History
In 1957, the reconstruction of the theater. Gorky, as a result of which the audience was reduced. But in 1960, the concert venue was enlarged by the architect V.N. Razumovsky, which was called the Green Theater. The capacity of the additional scene was 3000 people, and the area itself was 300 square meters. To create the design of the Green Theater, sculptors from Moscow , St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don were involved. It got its name in connection with the close location of a large number of trees. As of 2000, the object was in disrepair, its conservation status was not fully determined: in the regional register of cultural heritage objects it was listed as part of the monument of federal significance - the theater named after Gorky, and according to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, this information did not correspond to reality [1] .
In 2003, the reconstruction of the building could not be carried out precisely because of the uncertainty of its status [1] . Then the work was supposed to be carried out in 2012 and in 2013 [2] , but they also had to be postponed. As of the beginning of 2016, the organizers of the plans were to repair the site and install a Ferris wheel in a park 60 meters high [3] . It is assumed that the site will be commissioned in 2017 and will be able to accommodate more than 1000 people. The stage area will be over 300 square meters. For the work will need to spend about 110 million rubles. So far, the building is half destroyed, its depreciation is 45% [4]
In 2018, the reconstruction of the Green Theater was completed. Summer area can accommodate 1200 people. The stage is adapted for showing performances, films, as well as for celebrations, concerts and other events.
