Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Irmes River , 7 km southeast of the center of the village of Shekshovo and 9 km southeast of the district center of the city of Gavrilov Posad on the highway 24N-284 Suzdal - Gavrilov Posad .
History
In 1816, at the expense of the landowner Ekaterina Pavlovna Buturlina and parishioners, a stone church with a bell tower was built. There were three thrones in the church: in the real cold - in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the chapel - in the name of St. Demetrius of Rostov the Miracle Worker, in the warm chapel the throne in the name of St. Nicholas and the Miracle Worker. The church has kept copies of metric books since 1803. In 1893, the parish consisted of a village (67 yards) and the village of Khlyabova. There were 139 all the yards in the parish, 415 men, 477 women. There was a literacy school in the village [2] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Borodino volost of the Suzdal district of Vladimir province .
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Podoletsky village council of the Gavrilovo-Posad district , since 1954 - as part of the Shekshov village council [3] , since 2005 - as part of the Shekshov village village .
