History
The mansion was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Its owner was Yegor Ivanovich Krindach, who served as a civil lawyer, also engaged in public work in the field of public education. History has kept mentioning that Yegor Krindach was a member of the board of the Society for the Distribution of Useful Books of the Don Don Field . The Society began its work in 1876, and two years later it became known as the Society for the Promotion of Public Education of the Don Cossack Region. Yegor Krindach went from being a deputy chairman to the chairman of the company in 1902. At the beginning of its existence, the organization was engaged in opening bookstores and shops. Since 1923 and for decades, the Krindach mansion was a TB dispensary. In 1992, the building was recognized as a cultural heritage site of regional importance in accordance with the Decision of the Rostov Regional Council of People's Deputies. As of the beginning of the 21st century, the former Krindach mansion began to gradually collapse. In 2015, reconstruction began in order to create a two-story building in its place, adapted to the needs of a hotel with a capacity of 30 beds. It was decided to carry out the work taking into account the decision to preserve the main facade of the first floor [1] . The new hotel is called "Platov". Shortly before the official opening of the hotel at the end of December 2015, a fire occurred in its premises, which was eliminated [2] .
