Born in Leningrad on May 26, 1945. He studied at the Leningrad Choreographic School (class B. Shavrova ) [2] .
In 1964-1987 he danced on the stage of the Maly Opera and Ballet Theater . The first performer of the parts of Aramis ( Three Musketeers ), Zhenya ( Old Man Hottabych ), Vladimir ( Yaroslavna ), Franz ( Koppelia ), Mercutio ( Romeo and Juliet ), Gregory (Tsar Boris), Truffaldino (Servant of Two Masters), Peter (Cavalry Rest) , Pierrot (Harlequinade).
