“ It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing) ” is a song by the American composer and musician Duke Ellington [1] to verses by Irving Mills [2] . It was released in 1931 [1] .
In 2008, a single with this song performed by Duke Ellinton and his famous orchestra (1932) was admitted to the Grammy Awards Hall of Fame [3] .
Also, the song “It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)” is included (again in the original performance of Duke Ellinton) in the 2011 All-TIME 100 Songs list compiled by Time magazine in 2011 (100 best songs since the founding of Time magazine) [1] .
