Mendeleev Street ( Ukrainian: Vulitsa Mendeleva ) is a street in the Pechersky district of the city of Kiev , the Black Mountain area . It runs from a dead end near House No. 12-B along Friendship of the Peoples Boulevard (School No. 80) to a dead end near Chernogorskaya Street . Ostap Vishni Street and Akademika Filatova Lane join Mendeleev Street .

History
Mendeleev Street appeared in the middle of the 20th century under the name Novaya . The modern name in honor of the Russian scientist D. I. Mendeleev - since 1955 [1] .
