Panasonic Wild Knights ( パ ナ ソ ニ ッ ク ワ イ ル ド ナ イ ツ , Panasonic Wild Knights - “Wild Knights”) is a Japanese rugby club that plays in the top division of national rugby - Top League . The team was formed in 1960. Represents the city of Ota . Led by New Zealand fly-hav Tony Brown, the team went through the 2007/06 season without any defeats. This event occurred for the first time in the history of the league.

In anticipation of the 2012/13 season, Panasonic became the owner of the club, then the team got its current name. Rugby players, who had previously performed in red and black colors, began to put on a blue uniform. In 2014, Norifumi Nakajima head coach, having won with the Knights double (wins in the Top League and the All-Japan Rugby Championship), resigned. His successor was the former coach of the Australian national team and the New Zealand club “ Crusaders ” Robbie Deans.
