Munakata Sanix Blues ( Japanese 宗 像 サ ニ ッ ク ス ブ ル ー ス , Munakata Sanix Blues ) is a Japanese rugby club serving in the top division of national rugby - Top League . The team was formed in the 1994 apre as a rugby club in the city of Munakata . Rugby players quickly went through the filter of the lower leagues and for the first time took part in the elite league season in 2003. Nevertheless, the “Blues” could not gain a foothold at the highest level, losing the match for the survival of the Kintetsu Liners club (42:45). In the 2005/06 season, the team again played in the Top League.
