Biography
Vitaly Moskalenko was born in 1954 in Germany , where his father carried out post-war service [3] . The family came from the village of Sebrovka of the Volgograd region , where they left during the holidays and where the relatives baptized Vitaly "in secret from his father." One of the great-grandfathers was a Ukrainian, the other three were Russians. Ded Fyodor Pavlovich Galotin was expropriated at 22 years old and exiled to Solovki for nine years; his story was later reflected in one of his grandson's plays [3] .
After moving to Moscow, he entered the directing department of GITIS , the course of Andrei Goncharov [2] . From 1977 to 1988 he played on the stage of the Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya [1] . In 1978 he made his debut in the teleplay "Evening of Memories" directed by Konstantin Khudyakov . Later starred in several movies. In 1989 he graduated from the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors , the workshop of Pavel Finn [1] .
Since 1977, publishes stories, stories and plays in the " Banner " [4] and other magazines. The author of the collections "District Center" (1988) and "Wolfhound" (1995), the story "Fraudsters" (2006), the plays "Who Killed?", "Yellow Bead Wallet", "Steamboats of Our Hopes" and others. In 1979, under the impression of the Bible, he composed the play “Angel of Sorrowful Understanding” about a boy who discovers God in himself. The play displeased officials of the RSFSR Ministry of Culture and was demanded to be rewritten. In 1982, the play of the same name did not last long at the Mossovet Theater [3] . Only in 1989, the play entered the permanent repertoire of the Moscow Theater of Russian Drama [5] .
Since 1990, Moskalenko has been active in film and television. Participated in the creation of the first Russian TV series, was a member of the creative group of the comic show “ Both! ". In 1995 he was one of the authors of the comedy-farce script " Shirley Myrli " directed by Vladimir Menshov . Since 1993, he has been making films and TV shows, the most famous of which are the comedy film “ Chinese Service ” (1999), the drama “ One Life ” (2003) and the television series “ Orlova and Alexandrov ” (2015).
