Kort-Tlyapa ( kabard.-Cherk. Guarte and Plapap ) is a mountain within the Wooded Range in the southeastern part of Kabardino-Balkaria . It is the highest point of the Wooded Range between the basins of the Cherek and Lesken rivers .

Geography
The mountain is located in the northeastern part of the Cherek district . The absolute height of the peak is 1041 meters above sea level. Relative heights exceed 400 meters.
The mountain slopes are covered with dense broad-leaved forest, and the extreme top is bare and covered with an island of alpine vegetation.
At the southern margin of the massif begins the river Vagatsuko , and streams flow from the eastern slope, carrying their waters to Argudan.
