Biography
Born March 10, 1918 in the village of Bogomolovka ( Voronezh region ) in a peasant family. After receiving primary education, he moved to the Rostov Region with his family. He worked as a tractor driver on a collective farm .
In 1938, drafted into the Red Army . He participated in the liberation campaigns in Western Ukraine and Bessarabia, as well as in the Soviet-Finnish war . In the battles of World War II from July 1941.
On April 5, 1944, near Razdolnaya ( Odessa region ), during a reconnaissance raid, along with a reconnaissance group, he destroyed 9 enemy soldiers and captured one officer. April 28, 1944 awarded the Order of Glory 3rd degree .
July 2, 1944 during the battles near the city of Columns ( Belarus ), under enemy fire, reconnoitered the location of artillery. On August 29, 1944 he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree .
On October 21, 1944, during a battle near the city of Nyíregyháza ( Hungary ), he was wounded, but remained in service until the end of the battle. In this battle, he destroyed 13 enemy soldiers. April 28, 1945 awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree .
Demobilized in 1946. He returned to the Ushakovsky farm (Rostov region). He worked as a tractor driver at a state farm . He died on January 8, 2002. He was buried in the cemetery of the Ushakovsky farm [1] [2] .
