In the province of Bushehr is the city of the same name, near which there is a river. The presence of a source of drinking water in the north of the city of Daleki and a river passing nearby provided living conditions in this area already in antiquity, as evidenced by the monuments found in the palm grove of Daleki, and the fortress "Dokhtar Dashti" [2] .

Length
The length of the Daleki River is 225 kilometers. This river flows along its entire length in a southwestern direction through the shahrestans (urban districts) of Kazerun, Deshtestan and Bushehr, which are located in the provinces of Fars and Bushehr. This river originates from the heights located between Lake Famur and the plain of Arzhan in the west of Shiraz , and flowing through the district of Kazerun , it falls into the Deshtestan desert. In the upper part of the river, with the exception of the vicinity of the city of Borazcan, it is called the Daleki River, but in the place where it flows into the waters of the Shahur River, it is called Hale. The Daleki River in various areas through which it flows receives local names, such as Sarkhun, Jerré, Shirin and Shur [3] .
Use of the River
The water is salty, as the river flows through the salt marsh. According to statistics collected over the past 20 years, the volume of water taken from this river for irrigation of land amounted to 416 million cubic meters [4] .
River Bridge
In 1286, according to the lunar hijra (1907 according to the Gregorian calendar), Abul-Hasan-khan Moshir ol-Molk Shirazi, who was involved in charity work, built a huge bridge of stone and saruj (a building material such as cement made from lime, ash and water) over the Dalecki River in a northeast direction. Initially, this bridge served as a crossing for caravans, and then they began to use it for cars.
