Pustetský ( Polish: Pustecki ; Czech. Pustecký ) is a spirit or ghost in Polish and Czech mythologies that lives on the territory of a coal mine near Karvina in Tesinska Silesia . It looks like a miner , in uniform, with a long gray beard. He has a gold carbide lamp on his helmet and holds a silver pickax in his hands. By the nature of the empty, it is associated with a skarbnik [1] .

The miners themselves talk about what kind of activity Pustetskiy conducts. According to legend, he lives in coal mines. Good and caring spirit. Always helps hardworking miners, rewards them with gold. Helps the lost underground , brings them to the surface. It takes care of the souls of the dead in the mines. Pustetskiy warns the miners about the possible danger during work. He turns into some small animal, such as a mouse , and squeals a lot. Pustetskiy does not like to whistle in his "corridors", he punishes such people [2] .
