Rozhnovsky is a farm in the Novoanninsky district of the Volgograd region of Russia , as a part of Filonovsky rural settlement .

History
The farm Rozhnovsky belonged to the yurt of the village of Filonov Hopersky District of the Land of the Don Cossacks (from 1870 - the Province of the Don Cossacks). In 1859, 175 men and 184 women lived on a farm [2] . According to the census of 1897, 177 men and 157 women lived on the farm, of which literate: 58 (32.8%) men, 2 (1.27%) literate women [3] .
According to the alphabetical list of populated areas of the Region of the Don Army, in 1915, the farm’s allotment was 1655 acres , 150 men and 139 women lived here, there were farm management, a windmill and two brick factories [4] .
Since 1928, the farm has been part of the Novoanninsky district of the Khopersky district (abolished in 1930) of the Lower Volga region (since 1934 - the Stalingrad region , since 1936 - the Stalingrad region, since 1961 - the Volgograd region) [5] [6] .
Geography
The farm is located within the Hopersko-Buzuluk plain , which is the southern end of the Oka-Don lowland , on the left bank of the Buzuluk river, at an altitude of about 80-90 meters above sea level. In the northeast is bordered by the farm Salomatin . On the opposite bank of Buzuluk - floodplain forest [7] . Soils are neutral and slightly acid floodplain and southern chernozems [8] .

By road, the distance to the regional center of the city of Volgograd is 270 km, to the district center of the city of Novoanninsky - 21 km, to the village of Filonovskaya - 8.5 km [9] .
