Serafim Prokhorovich Epifantsev (born 1929 , the village of Panino , Central Chernozem region ) is a metallurgist, master of the Sinarsky pipe plant of the USSR Ministry of Ferrous Metallurgy, Sverdlovsk region. Hero of Socialist Labor (1966).

Biography
Born in 1929 in a peasant family in the village of Panino (today - Dobrovsky district of the Lipetsk region ). In 1950 he graduated from the Lipetsk Mining and Metallurgical College, after which he worked at the Sinarsky Pipe Plant. He worked as a foundry caster, later headed one of the sections of the enterprise.
The site team, led by Serafim Epifantsev, annually exceeded the production plan and socialist obligations for several five-year periods. The production tasks of the seven-year plan (1959-1965) were completed ahead of schedule. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 22, 1966, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor for the outstanding achievements in the development of ferrous metallurgy with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Hammer and Sickle .
In 1986, retired. He lives in Kamensk-Uralsky.
