Proran - a free (not blocked) part of the river bed , designed to pass water during the construction of a hydraulic structure; or a narrow channel in the spit, shallows or a straightened section of the river, formed as a result of a bend in a flood in a flood [1] .
Also called pro-ravine is a gully formed during a water stream breaking through a pressurized hydraulic structure, for example, a dam or earthen dam.
In the construction of hydraulic structures
During the construction of a pressure hydraulic structure, the closure of the apron ends with the complete closure of the river bed.
