Biography

Born October 7, 1988 in Hong Kong.

In 2010 she graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in geography ^[1] . Later she received a master's degree in sports science and health management ^[2] .

Player Career

I got into football because of the love of David Beckham 's game ^[1] .

From 2007 to 2013, she played for the Sathin club " ^[1] .

From 2008 to 2013, she played for the Hong Kong team ^[1] .

Career Coach

In 2012–2013, she was a coach at the Southern club ".

In the 2014/15 season, working as a coach, she won the Hong Kong Youth Championship (under 18) with the Hong Kong Pegasus team ^[1] .

Eastern

In July-December 2015 she worked in the coaching staff of the men's football club " Eastern ", acting in the top division of the championship of Hong Kong . December 8, 2015 was appointed head coach of the team. 27-year-old Zhan became the first woman to lead the men's club of the Hong Kong Championship's top division ^[3] . In the 2015/16 season, Eastern became the champion of Hong Kong ^[4] . Zhan Yuanding became the first female coach in the world to win the top division of the men's soccer championship ^[5] (for this achievement it was listed in the Guinness Book of Records ^[6] ). Was recognized as coach of the year (2016) in Hong Kong. Also recognized as the women's coach of the year (2016) AFC ^[7] . In February 2017, she became the first woman to lead the team in the AFC Champions League ^[8] . In the 2016/17 season, the club took 2nd place in the championship ^[9] . In May 2017, she left her post ^[10] . In July 2017 she became a team coach. July 19, 2018 again became the head coach of the team ^[11] . She left her post on February 4, 2019 ^[12] .
