Biography
He began to practice sambo in Tolyatti . His first coach was the Honored Coach of Russia Yuri Senkevich . In 1987 he became the winner of the USSR Sambo Championship. In 1991 he became the judo champion of Belarus. In 1992 he became the bronze medalist of the European Championship, and in 1994 became the European champion in sambo. In 1992-1994 he became the world champion in sambo.
He works as a senior trainer and teacher of sambo MBUDO KSDYUSSHOR number 13 "Volgar". He is the vice-president of the Sports and Combat Sambo Federation of Togliatti. A number of his pupils are winners and prize-winners of city, regional and all-Russian competitions.
He studied with the trainer Anatoly Khmelev [1] .
