History
In 1890, the entrusted residents of the Pavlovsko-Kundryuchenskoye Cherkassy District farm belonging to the parish of the Nicholas Church of the Gukovo-Gnilushansky Farmhouse addressed a petition to His Eminence, the Archbishop of Don and Novocherkassk, to build a church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr and a drawing mate to make a drawing and make a drawing for a drawer and drawer in a drawing for a drawing mate. Permission was granted, but the construction of the temple began only after 15 years. Since 1902, the construction of the church was carried out by the contractor Vasiliev. The church was built at the expense of the farm community.
In 1905, the church was built, and October 26, 1905 consecrated. The new stone church building was lined with stone outside by burnt bricks, stood on a stone foundation, covered with sheet iron. A bell tower was built at the church. The church was enclosed by an iron fence on a stone cemented foundation. In the built church there was one throne in the name of the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon.
The Holy Synod was determined the state of the church, which included a priest, psalm reader, proforny. Around the church, parishioners planted 12 poplars by the number of apostles.
The church had a metric book, was a library of 50 church books, magazines "Helmsman" and "Spiritual conversations."
Before the Great Patriotic War, the divine services in the church ceased. In 1943, the temple was opened, in 1961, it was closed again from the temple, and domes were torn from it. Later in the frame was a granary farm, the temple was gradually dilapidated and collapsed.
In 2015, in the village of Pavlovka, the means of local residents opened a prayer house from St. Panteleimon's Church. The prayer house is located in the former house of the priest. Some of the icons of the Church of Panteleimon were transferred here. Services in the new church are held on church holidays.
