Geography

The village is located 7 km southeast of the center of the village of Osanovets and 7 km southwest of the district center of the city of Gavrilov Posad .

History

For the first time, the village was mentioned in the “traveling letter” of 1521, which indicated the borders of the lands of Dubenok and the village of Lycheva. From this letter it can be seen that Lychevo belonged in the first quarter of the XVI century to a certain Fedor Ivanovich Dubensky. In the first half of the XVII century, Lychevo, as can be seen from the books of the patriarchal state order, was the estate of the Romanov boyars. In 1628, Ivan Nikitich Romanov owned the village and lived in it, and in 1648 the village appeared to be the estate of the boyar Nikita Ivanovich Romanov . In 1666, Lychevo transferred to other owners, as there is an entry in the patriarchal books. In the second half of the 18th century, Lychevo belonged to the landowners Lyalin.

In the XVII century, as can be seen from the salary books of the patriarchal treasury order of 1628, in the village there was a church in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In the second half of the 18th century, the wooden Nikolaev church that existed in the village burned down; instead, parishioners bought a wooden church in the village of Omutskoy, Suzdal Uyezd , which was built in 1760 and lit in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1789, this church was moved from the village to the cemetery, where it stood until 1825, when a stone chapel was demolished, and not in its place, a stone chapel was demolished. In 1777, at the expense of the village owner Trofim Illarionovich Lalin, a stone church was built with a bell tower and a throne - in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1829, the landowner Pyotr Ivanovich Lyalin arranged two warm chapels in the church: in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the holy apostles Peter and Paul. In 1893, the parish consisted of the village of Lychevo and the village of Klyuchi. There were 89 households, 270 men and 324 women [2] .

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Parshinsky volost of the Yuryev district of Vladimir province .

Since 1929, the village was part of the Serbilovsky village council of the Gavrilovo-Posad district , since 1954 it was the center of the Lychevsky village council [3] , and since 2005 it has been part of the Osanovets rural village .
