Batyrkair Kaskabasov (b. 1939 - date of death not known, Kostanay ) - senior shepherd of the Sulukol sheep-breeding factory named after the XXIII Congress of the CPSU of the Seven-grain district of Kustanai region, Kazakh SSR. Hero of Socialist Labor (1981).

Biography

After World War II, he worked as a shepherd, a shepherd at the Sulukolsky sheep farm on behalf of the 23rd Congress of the CPSU of the Semiozern district. He was engaged in growing sheep of the North Cazakh merino breed of the Sulukol type. In the 70s annually received in his flock at least 150 lambs from each hundred ewes ^[1] . He was later appointed senior shepherd.

The Batyrkair Kaskabasov team annually exceeded the plan for raising lambs and cutting wool. In 1980, the team received an average of 133 lamb from each hundred ewes and sheared an average of 6.2 kilograms of wool from each sheep. The safety of the livestock this year was 100%. In total, during the years of the Tenth Five-Year Plan (1976-1980), the brigade raised 4907 lambs and cut 254.3 centners of wool. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 19, 1981, he was awarded the Hero of Socialist Labor with presentation of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle " ^[2] .

Repeatedly participated in the All-Union Exhibition of VDNH in Moscow, where he received two silver and two bronze medals.

He died in one of the suburbs of Kostanay ^[1] .
