Artificial hypobiosis

Artificial hypobiosis (from other Greek. Ὑπο - under, below and βίος - life) - a slowdown of the physiological time in the body of mammals and humans as a result of external exposure, due to which there is a suspension of all life processes, with the possibility of their subsequent restoration to entry level. There are a wide range of conditions of artificial hypobiosis - from the most insignificant changes, when the processes of higher nervous activity are completely preserved, to the conditions when independent breathing and heartbeat can be detected only by special methods.

The concept of artificial hypobiosis, as an analogue of natural hibernation in mammals, was first introduced into the domestic scientific literature by V.V. and Timofeev N.N. [one]
