Content
Content and Structure
The journal's attention is focused on empirical scientific reports, however, it also publishes specialized theoretical, methodological, and review articles. Articles typically involve a lengthy introduction and review of the literature, several studies have been conducted that examine various aspects of the theory or test several competing hypotheses. Some researchers see in the requirement of several experiments an excessive burden that delays the publication of valuable work [1] . However, this requirement also helps to maintain the impression that the research published in the journal was thoroughly tested and less likely to be the result of an error .
The magazine includes three separate sections with their own editor. The Relationships and Social Cognition section discusses those issues of social behavior in which cognition plays an important role, including the interface of cognition with explicit behavior, affect and motivation. The section “Interpersonal relations and group processes” focuses on the psychological and structural features of interaction in pairs and groups. In the section “Personality Processes and Individual Differences”, research is published on all aspects of personality psychology. It includes studies of individual differences and the basic processes of behavior, emotions, coping, health, motivation and other phenomena that reflect the personality.
