Description
Kind of evergreen creeping plants. Branched stems. The shrub is covered with bright yellow flowers, resembling a saucer in shape. The center of the flower is a high stigma, surrounded by several orange stamens. Monolithic sunflower grows on flat rocky soils. Less common in the field. The plant is not afraid of arid areas.
Shrubs with yellow flowers are found in nature, while garden plants have shades from white to dark red.
Monolithic sunflower blooms throughout the summer. The main flowering period is from May to July. The flowers of the plant are an excellent honey plant for bees, and the leaves are food for the larvae of butterflies and moths.
